What is GetPipsy and how does it help me?
GetPipsy is an online trading journal and performance workspace: you can log trades, review patterns, track rule adherence, and — depending on your plan — use modules such as visual analytics, emotion journaling, prop-firm tracking, and optional MetaTrader integration.
The goal is to make your own trading easier to understand, not to place trades for you. The service is available at https://getpipsy.com.
Who is the product for? Is there a minimum age?
GetPipsy is built for traders who want to document and analyse their own activity, whether on demo or live accounts and across asset classes.
The service is not intended for users under 18. By registering you confirm you are at least 18 and meet the legal capacity required in your country.
How do I sign up, and why did I not receive the verification email?
Start registration from the homepage with a valid email and password, then confirm your address via the link if the system asks you to.
If nothing arrives, check spam / promotions, verify there is no typo in the email, and wait a few minutes. Corporate filters can delay delivery. Still stuck? Write to hello@getpipsy.com and include the address you used.
Forgot password, locked account, or “cannot sign in”
Use password reset on the sign-in page; the link usually arrives within minutes (check spam).
Passwords are case-sensitive — watch Caps Lock. Too many failed attempts may trigger short-term protection: wait briefly or contact support. We recommend a strong unique password and a password manager.
What plans exist and how do they differ?
Tiers such as Plus, Pro, and Ultimate-style packages mainly differ by which modules and limits are included — e.g. deeper visual analytics, prop-firm dashboards, emotion tools, richer exports.
The authoritative list of features is always what you see in your account, on the Pricing / packages page, and at checkout. Free trials or discounts apply only when the product explicitly shows them.
How do payments and subscriptions work (Stripe)?
Paid plans are billed through Stripe. Card data is handled by Stripe under its own security standards; we do not store your full card number.
Manage status, invoices, and cancellation via the Stripe customer portal link and your Profile / plans area. For upgrades/downgrades follow the in-product cancel / new checkout flow. Consumer withdrawal rights depend on applicable law — see the terms of service.
How do I connect MetaTrader (Expert Advisor) to my journal?
If your plan includes it, your account shows MetaTrader / EA settings and credentials. Install or enable the EA in your terminal following the provided documentation.
Data flows only when enabled both in the web account and in MetaTrader, and when closed trades are forwarded according to the rules. If trades are missing, check terminal connectivity, EA permissions, and the active account. For troubleshooting, email support with screenshots.
Can I export or delete my journal and account?
In-product export options (plan-dependent) let you download parts of your journal in structured formats shown in the app.
Account or data deletion requests can also be handled by email if a self-service path is incomplete — we respond within a reasonable time and respect statutory retention (e.g. invoicing). Details: privacy notice.
How secure is my connection and account?
Browser traffic uses HTTPS. After login a session cookie keeps you signed in — sign out on shared devices. Forms use CSRF protection where applicable.
Passwords are stored as a one-way hash; we never keep the plaintext. Do not share credentials, and tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.
Which browsers and devices work best?
We target current versions of Chrome, Edge, Firefox, and Safari. Mobile browsers work for many tasks; complex analytics are more comfortable on a desktop screen.
Temporarily disable aggressive ad blockers if login or Stripe redirects behave oddly. A private window or clearing cookies can fix a broken session.
What is the prop-firm module and how should I configure it?
The prop-firm style module helps you track limits, trading days, and drawdown-style metrics aligned with the rules you enter.
It does not replace the prop firm’s official dashboard or contract — their terms always win. You are responsible for values you enter in GetPipsy; cross-check with the firm’s documentation when unsure.
Does GetPipsy provide investment, tax, or legal advice?
No. GetPipsy is not an investment firm or broker and does not provide financial, tax, or legal advice. Analytical features reflect your own journal inputs so you can see patterns — decisions remain yours.
If you trade real money, involve qualified professionals according to the rules in your jurisdiction.
What is Pipsy AI Coach, and is data sent to a third party?
Pipsy AI Coach (and related assistant summaries) use aggregates and excerpts from your journal to produce text insights — they are not a substitute for regulated investment advice.
When our Gemini integration is enabled on the server, that material may be sent to Google (Gemini API) for generation; if the API is down, you may see rule-based text instead. Details: privacy notice and terms of service.
How does the affiliate program work?
Apply at /affiliate; approval is not guaranteed. Approved partners get a personal link. Attribution uses a 90-day first-party pipsy_aff_ref cookie plus sign-up data. Commissions come from qualifying subscription invoices paid through Stripe; payouts need IBAN and invoicing details. Separate program rules apply — see the affiliate section in our terms and the in-product partner copy.
How does multilingual UI and the language cookie work?
Choose a language in the header. A pipsy-language cookie and optionally localStorage can remember the choice for your next visit.
Legal pages (privacy, terms, imprint, FAQ) can be rendered server-side in the selected language when the cookie is set — switching language may reload the page so all copy stays consistent.
How do I reach you, and what about maintenance windows?
For general help use hello@getpipsy.com. We aim to reply on business days within a reasonable time; mark the subject if it is urgent security-related.
We may take the service offline briefly for maintenance or upgrades and will give advance notice when practical. Internet, DNS, or provider issues can also cause short outages — retrying later often resolves them.
