Welcome

Thank you for choosing GetPipsy. These Terms of Service govern use of the online service available at https://getpipsy.com. By registering or using the service you agree to these terms, except where mandatory law says otherwise.

What we provide

GetPipsy is a digital trading journal and analytics workspace. Features include journal entries, calendar views, exports, optional MetaTrader integration, and — depending on your plan — additional modules (e.g. visual analytics, emotion journaling, prop-firm tracking). What is available to you is shown in your account and plan description.

Who may use the service

Natural persons or representatives of organisations who can form a binding contract and meet any minimum age required in their jurisdiction. The service is not intended for users under 18. You are responsible for accurate account information so we can support you and handle billing correctly.

Your account and security

Please use a strong, unique password and keep credentials private. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access. We apply reasonable security measures on our side; safety is a shared effort.

Plans, fees, and Stripe

Paid plans are billed as shown at purchase through Stripe. Your plan becomes active after successful payment and processing in our systems (including webhook confirmation where used). Card handling and Stripe account rules follow Stripe’s terms; we do not store full card numbers on our servers.

When switching plans, follow the cancel / new checkout flow shown in the product. Check Profile / packages for your subscription status.

Optional affiliate program

You may apply for our partner program at /affiliate; approval is not automatic and participation is voluntary. Approved partners are bound by separate, versioned program terms that you accept in the partner area before commissions and payouts are enabled. Commissions are calculated from qualifying subscription invoices recorded through Stripe. Payouts require the billing and bank details you provide (e.g. IBAN). Self-referrals, misleading promotion, duplicate-account abuse, or serious rule breaches may lead to suspension or termination of partner access, and commissions may be adjusted or reversed if invoices are refunded or voided. Tax and other filings are your responsibility as a partner.

Fair and respectful use

Use GetPipsy lawfully and without harming others. Do not attack or overload the system, distribute malware, scrape in abusive ways, or use the product for illegal activity. For serious or repeated issues we may suspend or terminate access — proportionally and, where reasonable, with notice — to protect users and the platform.

Your content and intellectual property

Journal data you create remains yours subject to applicable law. You grant us a limited licence to host, display, and process it to run the service (including calculations and exports). We do not sell your journal to third parties.

The GetPipsy brand, UI, text, and software are protected; copying or reselling them beyond normal use is not allowed.

Not investment advice

GetPipsy is not investment, tax, or legal advice and is not a broker. The product helps you track and reflect on your own trading. You remain responsible for decisions and outcomes. For regulated decisions, consult qualified professionals.

Pipsy AI Coach and third-party AI (Gemini)

Where your plan includes it, Pipsy AI Coach and related assistant or summary features may use aggregated journal statistics and structured excerpts of your recent trades to generate explanatory text, tips, or summaries. When configured, our servers may call Google’s Generative Language (Gemini) API as a sub-processor for that generation. If the API is unavailable, the product may show rule-based or pre-composed text instead. AI output is not investment advice, can be wrong, and does not replace your judgement; see Google’s documentation for how they process API traffic.

Availability and changes

We aim for reliable uptime, but maintenance, upgrades, or events outside our control (e.g. internet, hosting) may cause short interruptions. We may improve or adjust features over time and will give reasonable notice for material changes.

Liability

The service is provided on an “as available” basis within the limits of law. To the extent permitted, we are not liable for trading results, indirect or consequential damages, or lost profits, except where mandatory law requires otherwise (e.g. intent, personal injury). Nothing here limits non-waivable consumer rights in your country.

Cancellation and account closure

If you are a consumer, statutory withdrawal rights may apply subject to digital-service exceptions. Manage subscriptions through Stripe and in-app controls. You may request account deletion by contacting us; we complete it within a reasonable time unless law requires retention.

Updates to these terms

We may update these terms for new features, pricing, or legal reasons. Material changes will be announced reasonably (e.g. on this page or by email). Continued use after an update may constitute acceptance where the law allows.

Disputes and governing law

Please contact us first at hello@getpipsy.com — most issues are resolved quickly. Consumer disputes may be governed by mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence. Nothing here limits those rights.

Unless mandatory consumer laws of your country require otherwise, these terms are governed by Hungarian law, and courts with jurisdiction are determined by the operator’s registered seat and applicable rules. This does not limit non-waivable consumer protections where you live.
